Background on the Church,

Church of the Exempted Statement of Faith

Doctrine 1

The KJV version of the bible is the inerrant word of god

We believe that the King James Version of the Bible represents the entirety of the true inspired Word of God as written in 2 Timothy 3:16, and that Interlinear study of the text affirms the accuracy of the KJV, and therefore the fallibility of other modern translations.

Doctrine 2

Jesus Christ is the Word, is God and made all things

We believe as it is written in John 1:1--14. The Word was with God in the beginning, the Word was God, and the Word was made flesh in the form of Jesus Christ, and that all things were made by Him.

Jesus Christ is the Word, is God and made all things

Doctrine 3

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are unique facets of ONE God

We believe that while many brethren focus on words not actually found in the holy Scriptures, such as "Trinity", God's exact physicality is beyond our mortal ability to grasp. As it is written and alluded to in John 14:26: While being capable of independent attributes, Father, Son and Holy Spirit always exist concurrently and completely unified as ONE God.

Doctrine 4

The Holy Spirit is the power of God, manifested in all true believers

We believe as it is written in Romans 8:26 and Acts 7:51--52 that the power of God is manifested in the Holy Spirit, which was given to the prophets of old first, and then to all true believers upon the sacrifice Jesus made on the Cross to redeem us from all our sins.

Doctrine 5

The full complement of works of the Holy Spirit continue to this day

We believe as it is written in Mark 16:16--18 & John 14:12--18 in the very words of Jesus Christ that the Holy Spirit makes it possible for the faithful to do all the things that He did and greater, and that the works of healing, casting out devils and more were not limited to the Apostles, but continue to the current day and forever.

Doctrine 6

The body: Temple of the Holy Spirit

We believe that through the Holy Spirit which indwells within each of us, all believers in Christ are connected as a holy family. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19--20, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and belong to God. Moreover, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17--20, a believer becomes a new creature in this process, wholly belonging to God: an ambassador of the Heavenly Realm, whose Kingdom is not of this earth, and whom no earthly agent or advocate of the secular state has dominion over.

The body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit

Doctrine 7

Jesus made Himself a worthy sacrifice for the punishment of sin

We believe, most importantly, that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. As is it is written in Mark 14:60--62 and elaborated in 2 Corinthians 5:14--21: God willingly lived the life of a man. He was sinless: The only possible sacrifice that could be offered in exchange for the punishment of sin which each of us deserve. This free gift was made for us: God taking the pain of sin upon Himself, in our place, that we might be able to be redeemed if we only believe, and repent of our wicked past.

Doctrine 8

Life is eternal after death, endured in Hell or celebrated in Heaven

We believe as it is written in John 5:21--24 and Revelation 21:7--8 that we are eternal beings: Either destined in death for an eternity of punishment in Hell, if we receive not the free gift of Jesus' sacrifice, or an eternity of peace and happiness with God in heaven.

Doctrine 9

There is an unseen spiritual world fighting for our destiny

We believe as it is written in Ephesians 6:12 that there are powers of darkness in hold of this world: Fallen Angels wishing to spiritually destroy us by accepting sin and rejecting Jesus Christ, and thereby joining them in the Hell that was designed for their rebellion in Heaven before the world we know.

There is an unseen spiritual world fighting for our destiny

Doctrine 10

In the Last Days, the Tribulation shall be endured till the end

We believe as it is written in Matthew 24:4--24 that in the Last Days, there shall be a great tribulation and many will be deceived by evil men, but the faithful Elect of God cannot be deceived. And that the faithful must endure to the end of it all, when upon Christ's return to the earth there will be a resurrection of the dead and a millennium of peace on earth.

In the Last Days, the Tribulation shall be endured till the end
